Temporary interruption of Sentiero Valtellina
Starting from the 1st of July 2025: Due to a landslide in the municipality of Valdisotto, the provincial road, the Valtellina trail and the access road to San Bartolomeo are closed.BUS PEREGO provides bicycle transport on request by calling 0342 905090. Trenord replacement buses - Lecco-Tirano railway line
Notice is hereby given that from June 15 to September 14, 2025, the Tirano - Lecco railway section will be affected by infrastructure maintenance and upgrading works, so train service between the two stations will be suspended. RFI from June 15 to September 14, 2025 is carrying out infrastructural upgrading and extraordinary maintenance works between Lecco and Tirano, in view of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics, impacting the service of the RE8 Milan-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano, R12 Sondrio-Tirano, and R13 Lecco-Colico-Sondrio lines. Rail traffic is suspended on the section affected by the works.Trains run between Milan and Lecco; between Lecco and Tirano, a substitute bus service is in operation, with direct runs to and from the main stations and runs that make all scheduled train stops. Below are the scheduled substitute buses in detail:

Bus sostitutivi Trenord - Tratta ferroviaria Lecco-Tirano
Si comunica che dal 15 giugno al 14 settembre 2025 la tratta ferroviaria Tirano - Lecco sarà interessata da interventi di manutenzione e potenziamento infrastrutturale, per questo sarà sospesa la circolazione dei treni fra le due stazioni. RFI dal 15 giugno al 14 settembre 2025 svolge lavori di potenziamento infrastrutturale e manutenzione straordinaria fra Lecco e Tirano, in vista delle Olimpiadi di Milano Cortina 2026, con impatto sul servizio delle linee RE8 Milano-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano, R12 Sondrio-Tirano, R13 Lecco-Colico-Sondrio. La circolazione ferroviaria è sospesa nella tratta interessata dai lavori.I treni circolano fra Milano e Lecco; fra Lecco e Tirano è attivo un servizio sostitutivo su autobus, che prevede corse dirette da e per le principali stazioni e corse che effettuano tutte le fermate previste dai treni. Di seguito gli autobus sostitutivi previsti nel dettaglio:

FROM THE WATER SPRING TO LAKE COMO
The Valtellina path is a cycle-pedestrian path that runs along the river Adda between Colico and Bormio, for a total distance of 114 km.
Along the route, surrounded by greenery and embraced by the Rhaetian Alps with their characteristic terraced vineyards and the Orobian Alps, it is possible to discover at a leisurely pace the small villages and the scenic and natural beauty of Valtellina. There are many well-equipped rest areas and bike hire points, as well as accommodation and restaurants where you can enjoy the rich wine and food tradition.
The presence along much of the route of the railway makes it possible to have convenient access and connection points to the Sentiero Valtellina.

The realisation of the path was made possible thanks to the intervention of the Comunità Montane della Valtellina which, each for its own area of competence, have invested in the construction and maintenance of the cycle-path.
